Family,

This week was good. nothing like last week but still it was way good. we baptized three young who have a great desire. they live far from the church but they went to church in the morning and were baptized and then at night to be confirmed. it was good. and this week we will probably baptize there parents!!! the loved the baptism of their children and now are wanting to make the same decision. the work is going great!

this week i learned alot about the sacrament and how its the most important thing that happens on the earth except in the temple. and that we need to be 100 percent reverent during. we need to act during the sacrament meeting how we would act if the body of Christ was on the table. because really his body is on the table. and if we arent thinking about the sacrifice of Christ we are not worthy to partake of it.

im so grateful for all that i learn on the mission. im going to us these things for the rest of my life. its awesome

well i dont have much else to say. i love yall and miss yall

until next week

family,
rex is going to have surgery!! how crazy. i hope all goes well with him i wanted to see him at least one more time before he dies. haha im kidding.but ill pray for him now...

This week we had interviews with pres. hall. with pres. fernandes the interviews were 2 minutes long. but with pres hall its 15 minutes. its awesome because its a conversation with love instead of an interagation! this week we baptized a boy very special. he has desires to serve a mission. and after i baptized him he said to me.. just 2 more steps holy ghost and endure to the end. and ill be saved. i told him that the last step is harder than all the others and its going to be a challenge. he said the challenges will help him grow more closer to God. it was a great feeling to hear this.and this week we will baptize 2 families!! me and my companion are excited and so are the families. and on saturday theres gonna have a wedding reception. we already paid 50 (reais) last week and we have to pay 75 more this week but its so worth it. Id rather baptize families than eat. ha but i have tons to eat.

i only have 7 more months to give it my all. im almost in the 4th quarter. everyday i need to improve spiritually. i dont want to have regrets after the mission. ``i gotsta give it all i has!!!´´

i love u all!!! this church is true... we have a living prophet on the earth and a god who loves us. Christ is his son who died for all humanity. of this i have a surety.

but this week we did splits with the presidents son. and we got to work with him. it was awesome. they are coming this week to do interviews. im excited to see them again. but this week we didnt baptized unfortunately. it was the first time in 11 weeks that i didnt baptize. but its all good cuz in the next two weeks we will baptize 2 families!

family,
this week was good. we found 26 new investigators including 8 familys!! im working harder then i have in a long time. we baptized this week and we have 2 families to baptize in two weeks!! im way excited. so this week we had a change of presindents and president hall is finally here. and he and his wife are coming to my city tomorrow and he is going to do a division with us!! its going to be way awesome. and also i will probably recieve my package tomorrow!!! i hope that is has arrived.

so the work here is crazy. we are killing ourselves physically. but its the best feeling ever arriving at home each night dead tired. it makes you feel like you gave it your all! this week we made goals to contact tons of men that can be priesthood holders. we are just looking to baptize men and families. i know that the Lord will help us find good people to teach. i made a goal to read the book of mormon 3 more times on the mission. im in mosiah. im going to finish, then the next time i read ill read it in spainish and for the las time in english. i have already read it 5 times on the mission and i have learned so much. if i had known the power that this book had i would have read it everyday as i child and teenager. it truly has changed my life completely. the book of mormon and the spirit made me the person i am today. not that im a good person but made me way way better at least. i know without a doubt that it was written by prophets of god that lived here in the americas. i know that alma heleman nephi mormon moroni amon king bejamin lived and were called of God to do his work. joe smith did not write it, but truly translated it. and he was called of god to do exactly that. anyone who is reading this letter can know the same thing i know. you just have to read and ask god. its so simple. i love this gospel. i love the people in brasil. i love teaching them about the truth. its the best feeling ever!

i love you all and i know i can live with you all for ever and ever!!

thats the best knowledge i have!

family!

this week was real good. we had the dedication of the new chapel and it was the last time that i will see president fernandes. this wednesday president hall will arrive. its crazy. but yeah we stayed in the chapel this week and when the people came to visit we showed them around and then we had a room where we taught the first lesson. its
was awesome. i literally taught the first lesson more then 50 times this week. its was awesome and the spirit was way strong because we were in the house of the lord. but yeah. im loving the work. i love teaching the gospel of Christ. i know that it is the only true gospel of this earth and on any other. this knowledge is worth everything that i have passed and went through in my life. i know without a doubt that this church is true. everyday i learn more about the truth and i
learn from teaching other people. this week we found a family very special. i hope that all goes well with them. the man of the family has a huge desire to know more about the truth.

im starting to realize that my time is fading away. i dont want this to end i only have 8 more months to spread the word of the true church, just 8 to be a full time missionary of my Savior, just 8 to work my butt of to help the lost children of God. actually i have more then 8, i truly have a life time but only 8 to do it all day every day. pray that i can be a better insrtument in the Lords hands and that i can be more faithful loving and obedient. thanks for the love and support.

family!

this week was good. the work is going great. we hade our last
sacrament meeting in the old church and we will be moving to the new
chapel this week. everyone is excited to visit the new church and so
we will have like thousands of people to teach this week. Oh and
during this week we are going to sit in the chapel and teach all the
people that are going to visit the chapel during open house. im so
excited.

but yeah so this week we baptized and taught tons! its was real good.
and im with my new companion who is adapting real well with the
mission life. its one of the most difficult things but he is doing
great. his name is actually elder vicente and he is from porto alegre.
he has 6 days in the mission field. i have been blessed to train two
missionaries and both of them have been awesome missionaries that
adapted quickly. there are some that take months to adapt. i havent
tooken a pic of the chapel yet but next week i will send you guys some
pics!! the people we are teaching didnt want to go to church yesterday
becasue brasil was playing and everyone wanted to stay home and watch.
im not kiddin when i say that a regular soccer game of the brasil
national team is bigger then the superbowl. its crazy. and not to
mention that im in a small city, eveyone says its crazier in a real
big city.

i love you all. i dont know what else to say..
